Marika Hale

Engineer II

Marika received her B.S. in Environmental Engineering from University of California, San Diego.  As a student, she became interested in the potential of biotechnology to support sustainable solutions for environmental problems, and sought out an internship in the field.  

This led her to Inhibrx, a biotherapeutics company where she was able to work in multiple stages of the drug development process.  At Inhibrx, Marika worked on both scaling up production as a member of the Cell Culture Process Development team, and validating and characterizing various biologics as a member of the Research team.  This dynamic background allowed her to gain a variety of skills she hopes to utilize in the development of sustainable products.

In her free time, Marika enjoys outdoor recreational activities, such as gardening, surfing, and hiking.
