Susie Fogelson is Founder and CEO of Fogelson & Co. (F&Co), a boutique consultancy that delivers brand and content strategy, storytelling concepts, and experiential recommendations to companies across the food and beverage arena. Over the course of her career, Susie has cultivated and fine-tuned her expertise of the food-connected consumer and the food marketing ecosystem.
Most recently, Susie was Senior Vice President of Marketing and Brand Strategy at Food Network and Cooking Channel, and the driving force in all aspects of strategy and marketing for both brands. She held senior leadership roles from 2001-2016, and was the key individual responsible for managing the evolution of Food Network’s brand during that time. Susie also drove the introduction of the Cooking Channel’s emergence across all consumer-facing creative communication, including on- and off-air advertising, creative services, partnerships and publicity, digital marketing and social media. She has also developed fully integrated marketing plans for new business and brand extensions priorities, ultimately helping to drive the prime-time ratings within the core demographic to record highs. Susie’s key strategy to accomplish this — and gain continuous ratings increases in the top 15 networks in their demographic — was to infuse Food Network into pop culture, and to monetize numerous partnerships in the process. Susie also served for eight years as a judge on Food Network Star.
Earlier in her career, Susie was Marketing Director at Nickelodeon and Media Planner for TBWA\CHIAT\DAY. She has her BA degree in Sociology from UCLA.
